CEOs, People & Culture Executives, and Marketing & Community Managers from 17 clubs across the Central Coast came together at The Ary to strengthen their collective response to domestic and family violence.
The collaborative session focused on building understanding, sharing responsibility, and identifying practical actions clubs can take to be part of the solution. Industry leaders heard powerful and informative presentations from Danielle Habib, Primary Prevention Specialist at CatholicCare, and Arely Carrion, Head of Social Impact at ClubsNSW.
Attendees explored a range of tools and strategies that can be implemented within their clubs to better support staff, members, and the broader community when it comes to domestic and family violence.
This initiative marks a significant step forward for the region, with Central Coast club leaders committed to adopting Domestic Violence Action Plans and working together to create a stronger, unified voice.
“By standing together, we can create meaningful change. Our clubs have a unique opportunity to lead within their communities—raising awareness, supporting those affected, and taking a clear stand against domestic and family violence,” a spokesperson said.
The Central Coast club network is now focused on embedding these learnings into action, demonstrating leadership and commitment to safer, more supportive communities.
