Workplace DFV Support

ClubsNSW Workplace DFV Toolkit The ClubsNSW Workplace Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Toolkit provides clubs with practical guidance, best-practice frameworks and ready-to-use resources to help create safer, more supportive workplaces. It equips club leaders, HR teams and staff with the tools needed to recognise, respond to and prevent DFV within the workplace. Designed for over 1,000 member clubs across NSW, the Toolkit supports organisations to:
  • Develop and implement effective DFV policies
  • Deliver staff training and awareness programs
  • Establish safe, confidential reporting and support pathways
  • Create a workplace culture built on respect, safety and early intervention
  • Engage employees and the wider community in DFV prevention efforts
By using the Toolkit, clubs can strengthen their role as trusted community hubs, ensuring staff and members affected by DFV feel supported, listened to and safe. Guide to Uplifting Workplace Responses The Guide to Uplifting Workplace Responses supports workplaces like clubs, to strengthen how they respond to people experiencing domestic, family and sexualised violence. Developed by Insight Exchange, the guide invites organisations to move beyond basic awareness and adopt insight-informed design, ensuring responses uphold dignity, enhance safety and reflect the lived experiences of victim-survivors. Workplaces are uniquely positioned to provide timely and meaningful support, with many victim-survivors remaining in paid employment throughout their experience of violence. This guide helps clubs understand their role and implement practical, strategic steps to improve readiness, build safer environments and ensure every response makes a positive difference.
